Post Brexit, I am truly at a loss for words. In a way, it is one of those everybody might be right scenarios. There is terrible indifference in the UK to the plight of the people, who have without question suffered hardship since Thatcher smashed up the country. No, wait, they have always suffered hardship. And, what we hope for is the entire elimination of such a notion. But, one thing we lack, is the humility and awareness of what life is like outside our gilded throned island. Poverty in the end, may not even be about money, it can perhaps be best measured in dignity, or lack of it, stripped from people, and normalized.
