What is misogyny Part 1

“what a misogynist truly loves is the shallow image of women that exists only in one’s mind and is illustrated in society in such things as pornography or mainstream media that espouses that ideal.  The hatred is directed at real women, for not living up to a misogynist’s expectations of women being easy to control and for not providing adequate stimulation for men’s interest….”

So, without further harsh labels and name calling, at the heart of this is a complete frustration. Men are raised that they can fix and understand, and to a degree control all things, feelings, thoughts, desires and in the future, their own destiny and outcomes.

So, it becomes a matter of deep, deep, fury that women just do not fit into this false norm. It does seem that the women who absolutely defy a man, and refuse to concede, will be called a BITCH for many years and even decades after an event.

So, woman as easy to control and rule, and woman as entertainer are the two core beliefs that have to be brought into awareness.

Do I need to control a woman? And why?

Where was that basic idea taught? By whom? A teacher, a priest, a parent, a sibling? Where when we were small children, did that kernel get planted?
