Just watched Birdman.
Can not yet articulate my response. Caught between the shocking indulgence innate within the art of performance, and the horrific, tragic, fragmented reality of a person living in so many split-off moments, hopelessly trying to patch them together to navigate a life. I fear a heartbreaking fragility, masquerading as joy that can engulf person.
